Welcome to Beach Bum! I’m Tiffany and I’m thrilled to share my journey and passion for creating ocean-inspired jewellery with you.
My Journey
From a young age I’ve been deeply connected to the natural world. At 15 I began volunteering and working in environmental conservation driven by a desire to protect and preserve the beauty of our planet. This passion led me to pursue a degree in Conservation Biology & Ecology which has been the foundation of my career. Over the years I’ve had the privilege of working on various conservation projects around the world from the lush rainforests of Indonesia to the coral reefs of the Pacific.
A Love for Nature
Nature has always been my greatest inspiration. My experiences in conservation have deepened my appreciation for the delicate balance of our ecosystems and the importance of sustainable practices. This love for nature, combined with my creative spirit, naturally evolved into a passion for crafting jewellery that reflects the beauty and wonder of the ocean. Every piece of my jewellery is dedicated to my love of the sea and commitment to its protection.
Cornish Roots
Growing up in Cornwall the sea has always been a central part of my life. The rugged coastline, dramatic cliffs and hidden coves of Cornwall are not just landscapes but are integral to our culture and way of life. Fishing, maritime trade and coastal activities have shaped our communities fostering a deep connection to the ocean. The sea's ever-changing nature mirrors our resilience and adaptability, and its beauty has inspired countless artists, writers and poets in our region.

At Cornish Beach Bum I create ocean-themed jewellery with an emphasis on sustainability, durability and eco-friendly work practices. Each piece is a tribute to the sea and its treasures crafted from recycled materials and ethically sourced elements. Sea glass, often referred to as "mermaid's tears," is at the heart of my jewellery. This beautiful material starts its journey as ordinary glass that has found its way into the ocean. Over many years waves and sand naturally tumble and polish the glass transforming it into smooth, frosted pieces with a unique, gem-like quality.
