Returns and Refund Policy
At Beachbum I am committed to ensuring your satisfaction with every purchase. Please read my Returns and Refund Policy carefully to understand your rights and obligations when you shop with me.
Please note that I am small independent business and as such am unable to absorb return costs like large online retailers do. Please do not order a piece just to 'have a look' as very every return has a financial cost to my business. Of course if you are unhappy with something you have ordered please get in touch.
1. Returns Eligibility
- Items Eligible for Return: I accept returns on unworn, undamaged jewellery items within 30 days from the date of purchase however you must notify me within the first 7 days of receipt of your item that you wish to return it.
- Exclusions: Personalized, custom-made, or engraved items cannot be returned unless they arrive damaged or defective.
2. Return Process
- Initiating a Return: To initiate a return, please contact me via the contact form on my website with your order number and reason for the return.
- Return Condition: Returned items must be in their original packaging (excluding the postage box/envelope), including all tags and accessories, and must not show any signs of wear or damage.
3. Refund Policy
- Refund Method: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used during the purchase.
- Processing Time: Please allow up to 14 business days for your refund to be processed after I receive the returned item(s).
- Refund Amount: The refund amount will exclude any shipping charges unless the return is due to an error on my part or the item is defective.
4. Exchanges
- Exchange Process: Unfortunately, I do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like to exchange an item, please initiate a return for a refund and place a new order for the desired item.
5. Damaged or Defective Items
- Reporting Damages: If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact me immediately upon receipt with clear photos of the damage or defect.
- Resolution: I will replace the item if stock is available, or issue a full refund including shipping costs upon return of the damaged or defective item.
6. Non-Returnable Items
- Final Sale Items: Items marked as "Final Sale" or purchased during a promotional sale are not eligible for return or refund unless defective.
7. Return Shipping
- Customer Responsibility: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, unless the return is due to an error on my part or the item is defective.
- Shipping Insurance: I recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for returns, as we cannot guarantee that I will receive your returned item.
